Bodybuilders at the table - Kurt Stallaert

This digitally edited photo series Bodybuilder's World takes a look at a rarely imagined world full of people, young and old, who have clearly spent every waking moment pumping iron. While it may seem strange that each person is so drawn, it is certainly the fully developed and extremely fit figures of healthy children that require a double-take.

Kurt Stallaert's creativity, talent and artistic maturity quickly became apparent in the Belgian top of the advertising world. He worked for international and national advertising agencies such as Famous, Duval-Guillaume, Publicis, BBH and TBWA and major campaigns (Jay-Z, Hublot, Taj Hotels, Nike, Axe, Mercedes, Smart, BMW, Van Marcke, Levis paint, Telenet, Renault, Humo,... As a fashion and publicity photographer, he developed a personal style and aesthetic. He creates impactful images, often inspired by everyday social and cultural matters with a touch of humor and irony. He likes to work with extensive setups and themes, allowing his photo work goes far beyond simple aesthetics. Kurt Stallaert earned several photo awards and received international recognition for his professional work. He was ranked in the Top 5 of advertising photographers selected by Lürzer's International Archive Magazine.
