Shipping and returns

Carrier and rates

We ship our products via Bpost, PostNL and DHL depending on the destination and apply their rates.

All goods and services will be delivered to the address you indicate in your order. When an item is in stock, it will be delivered to your delivery address within 3 to 15 working days. If an item is not in stock in our webshop, the customer will be personally informed of the stock shortage. 

Shipments abroad

Bpost, PostNL and DHL deliver to the following countries:

Europe: Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, Turkey

World: USA, Canada, Japan, China, Australia, Brazil, Taiwan, Thailand

Shipping costs for these destinations are automatically calculated based on dimensions, weight and current rates.

If the country of your choice is not in the list of destinations, you can always contact us via info@donkerekamer.com . We will then calculate a personal alternative for you via another delivery company so that you can enjoy our products.

 Method

Deliveries are made as follows:

  1. The customer must indicate to which address the ordered products can be delivered.
    b. Deliveries are made by a carrier during working hours. In case of absence, a message will be left with further information on how the order can be received depending on the carrier used. Any additional costs associated with this will be borne by the customer.
    c. Delivery takes place at the delivery address stated in the order confirmation/agreement. The risk of loss, damage or destruction of the products passes to the customer upon receipt of the products by the customer or the person designated by him.

Delayed delivery

If we cannot deliver on time, we will always notify you before the expected delivery period has expired. If we do not do this, you can cancel your order free of charge. In that case, we will refund you no later than 30 days after cancellation.

Lost package?

Our shipments are always at our risk. So you don't have to worry about goods getting lost in the mail. However, if you return goods to us within 14 days of purchase because you prefer not to keep them, you are responsible for transport.

Returns

If the goods delivered by us were damaged during transport, do not correspond to the items stated on the delivery note or do not correspond to the items you ordered, you must report this as soon as possible and certainly within 3 days via info @ darkroom.com. It will be decided in consultation whether you can return the item. You must use the supplied “return form” for this. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential damages due to late delivery or non-delivery by the carrier appointed by the company. Our liability in such cases is limited to the value of the items which are proven not to have been received by the customer.
