Postcard set - Covered Car (A Dream) - Bruno V. Roels

Bruno V. Roels made a new set of postcards using an artificial intelligence system. The images show one of his favorite Robert Frank photos 'Covered Car- Long Beach, California': a 1950s car parked in front of a house, covered with a white cloth, in front of two sturdy palm trees. He added some strange adjustments to the photo that AI provided. The car and the canvas seem to have merged, almost as in a dream.

The set contains 10 postcards.

Bruno V. Roels (1976) lives and works in Ghent (Belgium). His artworks travel to fairs from Paris to Amsterdam, London and New York. He is represented by Gallery FIFTY ONE in Antwerp (Belgium) and in the spring of 2018 the artist held his first solo exhibition in New York (United States) at the Howard Greenberg Gallery.
