Shuto Orizari city, Macedonia. In the early evening, when the high summer temperatures drop, residents take to the streets, much to the delight of the children who turn it into the best playground. The children of families living abroad who have returned to Shutka for the summer find this pleasure of "doing what they want" in Shutka, while having to adhere to the much stricter rules in the Belgian, French, Italian or German cities where they live.

Turine's work is exhibited in galleries, museums and festivals. He has received awards and fellowships in Europe and the United States States.

He also teaches photojournalism at the School of Journalism of the Université Libre de Bruxelles and gives documentary photography workshops in several countries. He is also the author of several monographs

Since 2020, he has also made television journalistic reports for the French and German channel ARTE.
